Do you like Pesto?
This is the perfect experience to learn how to make it from scratch using a mortar and pestle, following the traditional method and my grandmother’s recipe.
My dog Ettore and I will welcome you with a glass of prosecco, and when the pesto is ready, you can enjoy it with a plate of pasta—its flavor will make you forget all about the stairs you climbed to get to my kitchen. Over pleasant conversation, you’ll discover the history and tradition behind the flavors of Ligurian cuisine.
The experience takes place in an authentic 16th-century private home in Riomaggiore (Cinque Terre), located in the center of town. Just a few steps away, you can admire the stunning view of the town and the sea from the rooftop terrace on the third floor of the house. The characteristic colorful tower houses are built along the steep contours of the hill and offer a fantastic view, especially from the sea..
THE EXPERIENCE INCLUDES
- a welcome glass of prosecco;
- all ingredients to prepare the three Pesto;
- a plate of fusilli pasta paired with a glass of Cinque Terre wine;
- RC insurance;
- all taxes and fees.
